The "Belle Poule" was a frigate of the French Navy with 60 guns. Frigates were versatile, fast warships, designed for speed. and maneuverability, performing both combat and exploration roles. Ships like the "Belle Poule" were known for their speed. and maneuverability, making them ideal for a variety of applications. of tasks, including chasing and attacking enemy ships, as well as for exploration and patrol missions. Even though its construction began in 1828, the Belle Poule was not launched until 1834. It was one of the first ships to be built in a covered yard, allowing builders to delay construction when political and financial circumstances were not favorable. Its design was inspired by to the USS Constitution class of frigate. It was launched in July 1835 and had properties of navigation quite good. This what truly made this ship "Belle Poule" famous was the transport of Napoleon's ashes on board the Belle Poule from the island of Santa Elena to France. An event that will be remembered because he signed the end of the Napoleonic era and had a significant impact on the course of French and European history.
