MARISSTELLA LTD ART. 924 - ŠTILAC - BOAT OF THE ADRIATIC COAST

Scale 1:32

Length: 61 cm

Štilac is a vessel of recent times, nominally from the 19th century, adopted by a large number of shipyards.
It is built along the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea for the transport of a wide variety of vessels. of goods, to connect the islands to the continent.
To explain and present this structurally simple design, among the people of the coast there is an expression „deeply rooted“ to define the construction of this boat: "well done". The stern and sails are derived from Bracera (Brazzera), the bow from the Croatian Loger. This vessel can be 12 to 20 meters long.
Štilac still sails, obviously with motor and without sails, and is used for the transport of passengers and for the transport and extraction of sea sand.

  • The keel and the frames of the frame are in solid walnut wood, like all the elements of the deck and the planking
  • The sails are made of sewn cotton
  • The structural elements are laser cut
  • Detailed construction plan
  • Instruction booklet accompanied by photos in Italian and English
